Company History

Founded in 2000, Dedicated Logistics Services was created specifically for businesses that had a strong need for flexible and responsive service. 

The owner, Jonathan Smith recognized a need in the marketplace for custom-built transportation solutions. This vision went one step further by building custom solutions that lowered the clients’ costs while, at the same time, increasing service and value.  In addition, he believed in a transportation model wherein communication becomes the engine that drives the machine. That is why DLS has always, from the very first day in business, assigned to each client a dedicated Project Management Team.  To further support this business model, ownership has ensured that every member of the DLS management team has a background in transport operations AND customer service.
